Peugeot Citroen recalls 4,311 cars: tail lights may not light up

  On July 19, according to the State Administration for Market Regulation website, a few days ago, Peugeot Citroen (Shanghai) Management Co., Ltd. was entrusted to file a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the requirements of the "Regulations on the Management of Recall of Defective Automobile Products" and the "Implementation Measures for the Management of Recall of Defective Automobile Products". From now on, some DS 7 series vehicles produced between January 10, 2018 and April 15, 2021 will be recalled, totaling 4311 vehicles.

  It is reported that the vehicles within the scope of this recall have too small a gap between the upper edge of the taillight and the tailgate due to design reasons, and the taillight may be damaged due to a collision when the tailgate is switched on and off. If rainwater enters the interior of the taillight,It may cause the tail lights to fail to light up.It cannot provide a signal for the rear vehicle, posing a safety hazard.

  Peugeot Citroen (Shanghai) Management Co., Ltd. will perform a water leakage test for vehicles within the scope of the recall to check whether the tail lights are wet, and replace the tail lights that are wet; the tail lights that are not wet but belong to defective batches will be repaired.
